The Hornell Steamers won their second straight and sent home over 600 students home happy with a 12-7 win over Dansville on their annual Kids Day game.

Hornell Steamer Braden McLin (Louisiana Christian) was named the first NYCBL Player of the Week in the 2024 season. McLin hit .500 on the week.

The Olean Oilers were able to take advantage of Hornell miscues as they rallied for a 6-3 victory in front of over 1,500 local kids.

After Hornell scored three runs in the 9th, the Genesee Rapids rallied for five runs in the bottom of the inning to walkoff with a wild 8-7 victory.

Hornell was down to their final out when Braden McLin (Louisiana Christian) hit a grand slam to tie the ballgame. The Steamers scored a run in the 10th to earn the 7-6 victory over Salamanca.
